In 1970, the agency purchased its own building at 9 Logan Boulevard where it is currently located. In 1988, an addition was made to the agency that included the installation of a drive-up window to more comfortably serve its customers. This expansion extended Warren's staff to fifteen people and later the acquisition of five more agencies.

Today, the agency is operated by: Gary G. Gingrich, President; Mark A. Moschella, Vice President and Secretary; and Mark T. Gingrich, Treasurer. Warren also continues to serve as Chairman of the Board.

As the agency strives for continued growth and prosperity, we remember our past. What made us successful was the loyalty of our customers, the reliability of our agents and the personal service of our agency.

Each and every employee continues to strive to treat each customer as if he/she were our only customer. We feel with special attention to these principles, our satisfied customers will remain customers for a lifetime.

HISTORY

The Warren A. Gingrich Agency was established on November 18, 1954. 

Warren A. Gingrich was Founder and President of the agency. Warren graduated from Gettysburg College in 1949.  He worked as a field representative for Aetna Company in Pittsburgh for five years. With the connection of a large trucking company, he was able to establish his own agency in downtown Altoona.

In 1956, he acquired his first agency. Over the next fifteen years, he acquired ten more agencies as his staff grew from two to ten people.
